Dear friends in Christ, Greeting to you all in the mighty name of our lord and saviour Jesus Christ . I am Pastor. Clement first of all wish to introduce myself along with my salvation Testimony

My name is Pastor. Clement Mariappan, working as a Gospel proclaiming missionary, Church planter among Hindu religious people. Please I request your precious time to read this testimony about me and my ministry for the lord Jesus.

I was born in a Hindu religious, Hindu idol worship family, we were used to worship idols made by stones ,soil, metals and painting, and also evil spirits, goddess. We were followed the rituals like shaving the head and offering(sacrifice) sheep , cocks, to the idols, and evil spirits. Some time the evil spirits would expose in my mother’s body and used to tell about the future to the peoples those who come to offer Pooja (OFFERINGS) to the evil spirits. So I was following the same rituals in my life for near about 23 years. when I was crossing my 11 years old my father was expired due to the evil spirit attack which was in my mother’s body. We are three brothers and two sisters , I was the first born to my mother. After my father’s dead we became very poor family and the only earning person was my mother, she was able to earn only 2(two) Indian Rupees per day by laboring in the agricultural field. And would hardly purchase only one dress once in two or three years, because of the poverty

So in this impasse situation with my mother’s help and encouragement
I had completed my Engineering degree (B .E. electronics) in the year 1991. So after completing my education I offered sacrifices to the goddess to grant me a Job so that I could earn money and could be able to feed my widow mother and my two younger sisters and two younger brothers. But the old Hindu gods and goddess whom I was worshiping were not able to grant me a job. Then I fed up of these goddess and started to roam with political leaders. One day my aunty took me to the prayer, when the Pastor prayed for me I got the JOB . Though I got the job my mind was not setting on that and was asking questions like Who is JESUS? Why should I get job after pastor’s prayers? Is my Hindu gods and goddess are powerless?


So I asked Jesus, Who are you? Are you really GOD? If you are GOD, what about my Hindu gods and goddess. If you are GOD I want to meet you face to face. Suddenly in the morning 4’o clock of the next day I heard the voice like thunder called my name, I was afraid , and asked Jesus whose voice was that I heard, then again up to 90(ninety) days continually heard the voice called my name. Then in my heart I felt the conviction about sins , and accepted the lord JESUS as MY PERSONNEL SAVIOUR. One day when I was fasted and pray , I was taken to heaven and saw Jesus there. Then immediately I had a calling to serve the Lord and proclaiming gospel to nonbelievers. Then in the year 1997, I left my job and became the full time minister. Only having faith on the Lord I planted many churches among Hindus. because of this reason I was targeted by Hindu militants on 2005 January 23, when I was conducting Sunday worship at a tribal’ s house about 30 people of them attacked me with iron rods and big sticks and persecuted My head, nose mouth was bleeding and they tired my dress and made me naked and pulled me on the road just like dead dogs, I was wounded severely but Jesus told me Don’t fear I am with you.

Now I am serving as a missionary and Church planter and pastor among the people from Hindus and Muslims, slum areas, poors and tribals. We want to erect the churches among different regional languages speaking Hindus and Muslims at all the states of India ,specially at North India. We want to start a social works like children homes , orphanages, bible colleges. For this programmes we need a spiritual guidance and financial helps.
